WHERE I-PRISM BEGAN
It didn’t begin as an institute. It began as discomfort — and a question.
As a medical student, Dr. Ravi Shankar Polisetty watched how lifesaving drugs often carried damaging side effects:
‣ A heart-protecting drug raising creatinine
‣ A medication helping one organ stressing another
‣ Guidelines contradicting each other
‣ Numbers like HbA1c causing harm if pushed too aggressively
Modern medicine was powerful, but incomplete.
It lacked a way to understand the body as a whole dynamic system, not a collection of organs.
Parallel to this, classical Ayurvedic texts described health as a balanced geometry of Vāta, Pitta and Kapha across tissues — a systems-level equilibrium.
And that led to the realization:
Allopathy and Ayurveda are not opposites — they are two languages describing the same body.
